"The Crumps, the Browns, Charlotte and Robbie and us (the Clarks) used to cook a lot of food and go to Coney Island for the whole day. We would go on all the rides and Daddy always wanted to go on the roller coaster. In the afternoon we would sit on the beach and Daddy would tell us how dangerous the undertow was. At night we'd go to Nathan's and Ted would always want the raw clams. She would always get very sick after eating them and then we'd all have to go home."
